The Minnesota Wild have 11 unrestricted free agents.

Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher and head coach Mike Yeo have a decision to make on all the free agents.

The Wild currently have 31 players under contract for next season; each team is allowed a maximum of 50.

With the 19 remaining contracts, at least one will be used on drafted players that have expiring rights this summer. Also, there is cap space to try and lure a big name free agent or two to Minnesota.

Here is unrestricted free agent right wing Jon DiSalvatore.

Number – 29; Height – 6-1; Weight – 200; Hometown – Bangor, Maine; 2011-12 Salary – $537,500.

Statistics: one game played and two penalty minutes (Minnesota Wild); 76 games played, 28 goals, 33 assists, plus-three rating and 22 penalty minutes (Houston Aeros).

Strength (per Fantasy Sports Services): Has proven to be a very solid point producer at the lower levels. Also displays good size.

Weakness (per Fantasy Sports Services): His skating has always held him back in terms of the National Hockey League.

Outlook: He led the Aeros in goals and points in each of the last two seasons and finished second in points his first season in the Wild organization in 2009-10. Despite his outstanding offensive numbers in Houston, he played only game for the Wild in that time. Despite being a quality depth scoring forward, it is unlikely he will be re-signed by the Wild.
